"Heroine" was originally written on a Ditto Looper and ukulele. It began with a few layered "ohs" and "ha has" and a simple A minor strum and I thought, let's see what happens next. This song was one of those songwriter gifts...a pocket of time, just outside of time...when you're able to just relax into the present energy and listen for the story that is ready to be told. Through co-creative collaboration and a true, shared vision with I Am Snow Angel (recording artist/producer/co-founder Female Frequency), this simple story metamorphosed into a full blown anthem...with a live, pulsing heartbeat under a rich tapestry of electronic sound and color. I couldn't have imagined it any better...
We all have the power to (re)write our stories. We are all Heroines & Heroes.
