"CHRISTMAS EVERYWHERE" is a wistfully optimistic, indie pop, holiday tune that also invokes the slightly melancholic nostalgia of the golden age of the ghosts of Christmas (songs) past. As Brian Walker Talbot (The Hobo Style) said, "It feels happy and sad at the same time. I'm left juxtaposed, but in a good way... a really good way. It's kind of like getting drunk off of spiked hot cocoa." This song is a gentle reminder of what's really important in life; not just at Christmastime, but every single day. All those Whos down in Whoville didn't need need all of the presents, and decorations, and the roast beast to be truly happy on Christmas morning. All they needed was the love in their hearts. Like the Beatles said, love (really) is all you need. A merry, merry and happy, happy to all....and to all a good night!
